​​Deb Borley is a long-time Dubuque resident, a dedicated nurse, a mother of four, and a proud grandmother of ten. With decades of experience caring for others, Deb has spent her life listening, problem-solving, and advocating for those in need — qualities she’s now bringing to her campaign for mayor. As a nurse, Deb knows the value of compassion, hard work, and clear communication. As a community member, she understands the importance of safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and a thriving local economy. And as a mother and grandmother, she’s committed to building a future where Dubuque families can live, work, and grow with confidence.​

 

Deb isn’t a career politician — she’s a neighbor who believes in service, honesty, and common-sense leadership. Her vision for Dubuque is rooted in transparency, inclusivity, and practical solutions that put people's needs first. ​​​With a background in Healthcare, Deb has spent over 45 years working to improve the lives of others. She has seen first-hand how community members are affected by the decisions of the city government and wants to help create a city that is centered around the Dubuque community's needs.
